Ingredients of Fish jalfrezi
STEP : 1
Take the cat fish pieces, wash them very well under running water, clean them and marinate with salt and turmeric for an hour
STEP : 2
Add oil to a kadai and heat it very well till the oil turns brownish. Add the fish pieces and fry them well on both sides till they turn golden brown.

Drain the oil and set aside the fried fish pieces in a bowl so that the gravy can be cooked using this pieces.

Chop the onion and tomatoes into small pieces. Make a paste of the mustard seeds. Slit the green chili. Wash and chop the coriander leaves for garnishing.

Heat oil in a kadai very well and add the kalonji seeds and fry them for a minute or two.

Add the onion pieces to the hot oil and fry them well till they turn pinkish in color and is softened.

Add the tomato and green chili to the hot oil and fry them so that the tomato melts and blends well.
STEP : 8
Add the mustard paste to the kadai and mix it well with the rest of the ingredients and cook for a minute or two. Add salt and turmeric

Add a cup of water to the kadai and mix all the masala very well and let it boil before adding the fried fish pieces.

Add the fish pieces to the kadai and cook it well till all the water is drained off and then serve it with coriander leaves garnishing.
