This is a dry masala using Boal Fish ( A variation of Cat Fish). It is a large and a oily fish which is served best in the winter. It is cooked in slow steam in the mustard sauce. It is a dry preparation and is served with rice.

Ingredients of Fish jalfrezi

0.50 kg Boal Cat Fish
1.00 no Onion
1.00 tbsp Mustard Paste
1.00 no Tomato
2.00 tbsp Coriander Leaves
2.00 no Chili
0.25 tbsp Kalonji Seeds
0.50 tbsp Salt
0.25 tbsp Turmeric
8.00 tbsp Oil

Take the cat fish pieces, wash them very well under running water, clean them and marinate with salt and turmeric for an hour
