Ingredients of Fish cutlet
STEP : 1
Take the Beckti fish fillet and wash it very well and clean them thoroughly so that they are ready for marination.

Add the salt and black pepper to the fish and also add the vinegar and then mix it very well.

Add the green chili, onion, ginger and garlic paste onto the fish and mix it thoroughly with the fish and set it aside.

Add the red chili powder to the fish and then mix it very well and set it aside in the fridge for marination.

Mix the salt, besan, maida, corn flour, oil and then they are ready to form the batter to coat the fish for frying.

Add the water and then make the batter smooth and consistent as shown in the image so that the fish slices can be dipped and fried.

Heat oil in a tawa and dip the fish and fry them oil on both sides till they turn golden brown in color.

After the fish is batter fried and is crispy then drain off the excess oil and then the fish is set aside in a plate.

Beat 2 eggs and caustic soda along with some salt to form the coverage layer for the cutlet as shown.

Beat the egg in a blender and the top layer is ready. Heat oil in the tawa, coat the fried fish from step 8 into the egg and then add more of the eggs so that a crispy top layer is formed.

- After the top layer is fried on both sides then the fish is ready to be served along with mustard and tomato sauce.
