STEP : 1
The key ingredients to prepare Elaneer paasam,we need Tender coconut,milk ,cardamom powder,cashews,raisins,sugar,ghee and pinch salt.

To take tender coconut water break the coconut ,seperate the coconut water in a bowl.

Seperate the coconut pulp for grinding purpose and adding the fine pieces in elaneer kheer.

Mean while,for grinding add a cup of light pulp in a blender or mixie jar

STEP : 5
According to our texture what we prefer blend it a thick coarse paste by adding coconut water.

Seperate the blended pulp in a bowl and add the remaining tender coconut water in it.

At the same time,Turn on a low flame,place a vessel ,add a 3/4 liter of milk

Take the little hard pulp and cut it into fine pieces and keep it aside.

When the milk starts boiling ,add the pieces in it and stir it for few seconds.

Add a tablespoon of green cardamom powder and mix it for good smell.and mix it .

Add the required amount of sugar or according your taste and mix it completely and let it cook.

Let's roast the nuts,place a kadai add the remaining tablespoon of ghee and let it melt.

Add quarter cup of cashews and mix it,You can add several nuts or chironji seeds.

Add half cup of crunched badam and mix it and dry roast it for few seconds.

Add quarter cup of raisins and then dry roast in a low flame and turn off.

Add the roasted nuts and mix it for good smell.and mix it in a low flame.

Turn off the flame and let the tender coconut payasam cool for few minutes for better taste.

Add the coconut puree into the payasam and mix it ,Our tasty elaneer payasam is ready.
