- 1.00 cup Red Gram
- 1.00 cup Palakura
- 1.00 tbsp Tamarind
- 1.00 tbsp Salt
- 1.00 tbsp Red Chilly Powder
- 1.00 tbsp Turmeric Powder
- 5.00 tbsp Oil
- 1.00 tbsp Mustered Seeds
- 1.00 tbsp Geera
- 2.00 tbsp Red Chilies
- 2.00 tbsp Garlics
- 2.00 tbsp Coriander
- 1.00 tbsp Onions
Instructions
Dhaba Style Dal Palak
- First of all take the fresh palakura and check it once and keep aside as shown in the image.
- Now take the one bundle of palakura and wash that well with the water as shown in the image.
- Now take the knife and cut them like a fine pieces as shown in the image with the knife and keep aside.
- Now take the cooker and add the red gram in the cooker and fry well once and keep aside for 5 minutes.
- Now take the water and add the 1 cup of the water in the red gram as shown in the image and soak dal.
- Now take the red chilly powder and add one tbsp of the red chilly powder in the dal as shown in the image.
- Now take the green chillies and cut them into two parts and add them in the dal as shown.
- Now take the tamota and cut them into pieces and add them in the dal as shown in the image tamota is optional.
- Now take the palakura and add that in the dal as shown in the image and keep aside for 5 minutes.
- Now take the lid and keep a lid over that and switch on the stove and cook for 15 minutes.
- Now take the lid and mix it once and check it once if it is cooked properly or not.
- Now take the salt and add sufficient salt for the taste in the dal as shown in the image.
- Now take the smasher and smash the dal and palak mixture well as shown in the image and keep aside.
- Now take the tamerind and remove the seeds from the tamerind and keep aside as shown in the image.
- Now take the water and add the half cup of the water in the tamerind and soak well for 5 minutes.

- Now cook that again after adding the tamerind juice in the dal and cook it for 5 minutes until the raw smell gone out.
- Now take the garlic and remove the outer part and keep aside as shown in the image and then cut them into pieces.
- Now take the plate and take the red chillies and cut them into pieces and keep aside until the dal prepared.
- Now keep a pan and switch on the stove and add the oil in the pan and preheat the oil for 5 minutes.
- Now take the garlic and add the garlic pieces and fry well for 5 minutes as shown in the image.
