Dal Ka Halwa – Delicious And Healthy Dal Ka Halwa Recipe
Dal ka halwa is taste at the same time healthiest recipe. Because, this Moong ki halwa prepared by using moong dal, moong dal is rich in protein and nutrients.
Ingredients
Dal Ka Halwa
- 0.50 cup Moong Dal
- 0.25 cup Milk
- 0.50 cup Sugar
- 1.00 nos Cardamom
- 5.00 tbsp Ghee
Instructions
Dal Ka Halwa
- Soak moong dal overnight ( soak for 4-5 hours) .
- Pressure cook the soaked moong dal for 2-3 whistles. Drain the excess water and mash it well.
- Heat 5 tablespoon of ghee in a pan.
- Now add mashed dal to the pan.
- After adding the mashed moong dal, keep on stirring, the content starts stick onto the bottom. Cook in slow flame for 5-10 minutes.
- Now add 1/4 cup of milk, it gives a smoothness as well as a good taste for the halwa .
- After adding the milk to the kada now add the 1/2 cup of sugar and mix this slowly .
- Sugar starts to caramelize. Stir the content well to avoid lumps.
- Ghee starts to separate from halwa.
- Now the healthy and tasty moong dal halwa is ready to serve.
