STEP : 1
Take the Basa fillet pieces and wash and clean them very well and then cut the filet into uniform sized cubes

Marinate the fish with salt and then add the coriander and mint paste on it along with ginger and garlic paste.

Heat oil in a tawa and coat the fish in a besan batter and then deep fry the fish on one side as shown.

Turn the batter coated fish pieces on to the other side so that both sides of the fish is cooked uniformly.

Repeat the process with all the fish pieces and fry them well and remove them from the oil and drain off the excess oil and keep the fish pieces in a plate.

Heat kalonjee seeds in a oil in a kadai and add the onion and green chili and fry till the onion turns pinkish.

Add the salt and then beat the yogurt and add it to the kadai along with a little amount of water.
STEP : 8
Add the fish pieces in the gravy and cook for a while till the gravy becomes thicker and smoother in consistency.

After the gravy is thickened pour the contents of the kadai in a serving bowl as it is shown and then it is ready to be served with coriander and green chili garnishing.
