These are little cakes made with a sweet pastry case with sweet coconut filling. Kids and adults will love these and they are easy to make. A simple, yet delicious baked dessert recipe that everyone should give a try.

0.25 cup Chilled butter
2.00 tbsp Chilled water
8.00 tbsp Dry coconut flakes
4.00 tbsp Milkmaid
0.50 tbsp Vanilla essence

Making tarts is very easy. The basic ingredients required are maida, butter, and powdered sugar. Keep all the ingredients ready with exact measurements.

Next, add the powdered sugar to the flour mixture. For 1 cup of flour add 1/4 cups of powdered sugar.

To make tart shells, take small amount of dough and flatten it using rolling pin.

Place it over the tart moulds and remove the excess dough. Using your fingers, shape the dough according to the mould.

These open pastry cases with a Shortbread Cookie Crust are simple to make, and are SO delicious!  made some this past weekend and they didn’t last more than 2 minutes.  Devoured in absolute silence, with oohs and ahhs and finger licking…I even saw my son lick his plate. You can strain the cream through a sieve to remove the shredded coconut, but I like to leave it in the cream. It’s delicious! , Mostly some kids don't like those chunks. It's a fabulous looking recipe—thank you!!! I’m saving this to a special folder and gonna making it again and again!!!
