Chole bhature recipe is very tasty and spicy and it is one of the most popular Punjabi recipe.It can be also served as a breakfast as well as lunch or dinner.

Ingredients
  

Flour Ingredients

  • 1.00 cup Wheat Flour
  • 0.5 cup All Purpose Flour
  • 0.25 tbsp Salt
  • 0.5 cup Curd
  • 0.5 tbsp Baking Powder
  • 0.5 tbsp Sugar

Chole Masala Ingredients

  • 2.00 nos Chickpeas
  • 1.00 tbsp Ginger
  • 1.00 tbsp Garlic
  • 1.00 nos Onion
  • 2.00 nos Bay leaves
  • 0.5 tbsp Cumin Seeds
  • 2.00 nos Cinnamon
  • 1.00 tbsp Salt
  • 1 .00 cup Oil

Instructions
 

Poori Preparation

  • At the first step take a bowl that have enough space to make a dough . Then put wheat flour , Maida, salt, sugar and baking powder to it .

  • Mix it well and then pour little curd to it . Kneed it well and when you feel the dough to be dry add some more curd to it .

  • After making a dough take a clean cotton cloth and make it slightly wet then cover the dough by the cloth .

  • Wait for four to six hours and then knead the dough again by adding a little oil to it and then make small round balls of it.

  • Then using a presser or chappathi roll make it to round shaped. Make the all balls to round flattened shape.

  • Then heat a kadai and pour oil to it , when the oil becomes hot put the flattened rotti to it and let it puffed up . Do the same with the remaining and our bhatura is ready .Keep in casserole to keep hot.

Chole Masala Preparation

  • Then take a blender or grinder and put tomato , ginger , garlic and onion to it then grind it well .

  • Then place a pan on flame and put oil to it , when it’s hot add cumin seeds ,bay leaves , cinnamon.

  • Saute it well and then add the grinder mixture of tomato, onion , ginger and garlic to it and mix it well.

  • Then put some water to it and let it boil. Then add coriander powder, garam masala and red chilly powder, turmeric powder to it.

  • Then let it boil again and put the previously soaked and cooked chana daal to it . Add salt as needed .

  • Then mix it well and cook for five to ten minutes so keep in low flame and close the pan .

  • Then put some coriander leaves to it and it’s ready to serve . So our chole bhature is ready to serve enjoy it.
