Ingredients of Chickpea salad
Chickpea salad

STEP : 1
The key ingredients to prepare chickpea salad,we need chickpea,rajma,chana dal,peanuts,tomatoes,onions,coconut,garlic,coriander leaves,black pepper,capsicum,carrot,cucumber beans,beetroot,green chillies,lemon,cumin seeds,sesame seeds,coconut oil and salt.

STEP : 2
Initially take a cup of chickpea or chole in a seperate bowl for soaking it.

Add a required amount of water and let it soak if for 8 hours or overnight .

Take a cup of rajma or kidney beans in a seperate bowl for soaking it.

Add a required amount of water and let it soak if for 8 hours or overnight .

Take half cup of chana dal or kadalai paruppu in a seperate bowl for soaking it.

Add a required amount of water and let it soak if for 8 hours or overnight .

On the next day morning strain the water of completely soaked chickpea ,red beans,chana dal.

Wash all the vegetables ,peel the skin then cut it into chopped pieces and keep aside.

Turn on the flame ,add a soaked chick pea in a pressure cooker for easy boiling

Add soaked rajma or kidney beans or red beans in a pressure cooker along with chickpea.

Add soaked chana dal or kadalai parupu in a pressure cooker along with the ingredients.

Add two cups of water or required amount of water and mix all these once.

Add little bit of salt for taste to boil it quickly and becomes light soft .

Close the cooker lid and leave it for two to three whistles in a high flame.

After two to three whistles ,when the pressure comes down completely slightly open the lid.

Again turn on the flame ,Place a pressure cooker ,add a cup of beetroot pieces.
