Ingredients of Chickpea curry
STEP : 1
Initially dry roast the chickpea finely for few minutes or you can soak the raw chickpea for overnight completely.

Add two cups of water into the finely dry roasted chickpea and let it boil for few minutes or pressure cook for four whistles completely.

Now deep fry the items were finely chopped onions,tomatoes ,curry leaves and mustard seeds by adding few drops of oil.

when it boils well add sambar powder three tablespoon ,or add chilli powder and leave it boil for few minutes.

Add a half tablespoon of turmeric powder and saute it well for few minutes ,add a coconut pieces in these stage if you like.

Add a tablespoon of coriander powder or garam masala for extra taste and for good smell and saute well.

Now add the salt as needed and saute it well for few minutes and adjust the water for the nice consistency.

Now add a lemon sized tamarind in water for five minutes,you can also use hot water for a thick tamarind extract.

Now add the tamarind extract and bring it to boil for few minutes,you can also adjust the tamarind extract as you needed.

Finally add the well cocked chickpea and bring it to boil for few second mix it well,sim the stove for few minutes until the kuzhambu get thicken and transfer it into another bowl.
