How to make chicken pakora at home?
Chicken pakora is one of the easiest recipes that you can make at home. The basic chicken pakora masalas are red chilli powder, salt, garlic paste, onion paste and pepper paste.
You can use either vinegar or lemon juice to improve the taste of the chicken pakora.
Prefer boneless chicken pieces while making chicken pakora so that you can enjoy eating it to the fullest. You can also add some herbs, ginger paste and any flavours to adjust your taste preferences.
You have to use a few spoons of corn flour and an egg as a binding agent and also to get the real crispness. You can also make paneer pakora instead of chicken pakora if you are a vegetarian eater.
How to make chicken pakora crispy?
To make a crispy chicken pakora, you must follow the measurements properly. Corn flour is must to get the real crispness.
If you are not happy with the crispness then you can simply coat the marinated chicken pieces with some bread crumbs and then you can fry it. You can serve this yummy chicken pakoras with some salsa.
Frying chicken pakora
I prefer to fry the chicken pieces in hot oil as it gives more crispness. If you are following the same method, then place the chicken pieces in hot oil and cook it in low to medium flame to make it evenly cook.
If you are calorie conscious then you can bake the coated chicken pieces in a microwave oven or in an air fryer. But please make sure not to shallow fry the chicken pieces as it will become soft instead of getting crisp.
Ingredients of Chicken pakora
STEP : 1
Take the chicken cubes and wash them and clean them well and cut them into uniform sizes as shown in the image.

Add salt, tandoori masala powder and black pepper powder to the chicken and mix them very well so that the chicken are brushed with the masala.

Take the green chili, garlic and onion and peel and wash them very well and then put them individually in the grinder and make a paste of each one.

Add the green chili paste to the chicken first so that the hotness of it gets penetrated well inside the chicken.

Then add the garlic and onion paste to the chicken cubes along with the green chili so that they all can be mixed together.

Mix all the ingredients very well with a fork and then add a spoon of vinegar and mix the same too and marinate in a refrigerator for atleast 30 minutes.

After marination take it out from the refrigerator and add the beaten egg and corn flour to the chicken and mix it thoroughly.

Heat oil in a frying pan and then fry each individual piece of chicken that is coated. Fry well on both sides till they turn golden brown. Remove from oil and is ready to be served with sauce.
