Ingredients of Chicken majboos
STEP : 1
At first clean and cut chicken in to big pieces and you can keep the skin for more taste, make cuts on the chicken pieces.

Marinate the chicken pieces using turmeric powder,chilly powder and salt for about ten minutes . Mean while make a paste of ginger garlic together or separately.

Then we can arrange the main ingredients, slice onion, carrot, tomato, green chilly, some pudina leaves in to small pieces.

Then take two and half cup of rice in a bowl and wash it well, drain off excess water and keep it aside.

Then heat a pan or Kadai and pour some vegetable oil to it, I used sunflower oil, then when it's hot add the spices like cumin seeds, cardamom, clove, pepper etc to it.

Then add sliced onion to it, saute it well, when it becomes brawn add the sliced tomatoes and stir well. Wait for two minutes.

Then when the water comes out from the tomato pour the ginger garlic paste stir well and add pudina leaves to it ,saute it well and then add green chilly to it.

Then put the marinated chicken pieces to the onion mix and let it half cooked ,so close the Kadai and keep in low flame.

Then after Five minutes put dried lemon, pepper powder to it and add one cup of water to it. Then add the chicken stalk cubes to it.

Then close the Kadai and Wait for ten minutes and then take out the cooked chicken pieces and place on a bowl or plate.

Then pour the washed and drained rice to the Kadai and then pour the remaining water ,that is four cup or as per need, remove the dried lemon from it.

Then close the Kadai and let the rice gets cooked well, add salt as needed, mean while grill the chicken pieces after applying some olive oil on it, for about ten minutes,take it out before it becomes hard.

I taken about ten minutes for a soft and crispy chicken pieces, then off the grilles and keep chicken pieces aside.

Then check whether our rice is cooked or not, if it's cooked add the sliced carrot to it and mix it well.

Then keep the chicken pieces on the upper side of rice, close the Kadai in low flame and keep it for two to five minutes more.

And then off the flame and serve our arabic chicken majbouse dish hot with vegetable salad and pickle if you need some spicy taste.
