Chicken chilli is a crispy chicken recipe which is one of the best starters and also you can serve this along with any kind of variety of rice recipes.
It takes very less time to prepare the recipe and the ingredients are also easily available at every home.
You can eat this recipe even as a snack along with some ketchup.
Even kids who don’t love chicken will also like this recipe and empty their plates within minutes.
Marinating The Chicken
While making chilli chicken, marinating the chicken is more important.
The very first thing is you have to clean the chicken without any dirt or smell. Otherwise the chicken chilli won’t turn good.
For cleaning the chicken, rinse it well again and again with water till the blood stains come out of the chicken.
After that squeeze half lemon, add in half spoon of turmeric and half spoon salt.
Mix everything with the chicken and then wash it in running water. By doing this, you will be able to remove the odd smell of the chicken.
When it comes to marination, make sure to marinate the chicken for at least 1 hour by keeping it inside the refrigerator.
The masala must make a nice coating inside the chicken. So that your chilli chicken will be juicy.
Ensure not to skip adding egg and corn flour, as egg will make your chicken very soft inside and the corn flour will make the chicken crispy outside.
If you are doing the chicken chilli the next day, then you can marinate the chicken and store it in an airtight container and keep it in the freezer.
In this recipe I am using oil for frying the chicken pieces. If you are diet cautious and don’t want to include more fat, then you can use an air fryer or oven for baking the chicken pieces.
The calories in chicken chilli is obviously a bit high because of the deep frying in oil. But it is okay to feed your kids with this high calorie food for once or twice in a month.
Chilli Chicken Tips
If you make a large quantity of chilli chicken, you can store the chicken in the freezer after marinating and can fry it whenever you need. But once you fry the chicken, you cannot store it for more than 4 to 5 hours. It will become dry and saggy.
So if you have lots of leftover chicken chilli, you can use it for making chilli chicken curry, chilli chicken biryani, chilli chicken manchurian or any recipes you like.
Simply you can use it for any wraps or saucy curries and yes it will taste awesome.
Ingredients of Chicken chili

First take the one cup of chicken wash the water and clean the chicken without smell.

Then take the plate and serve the chili powder; pepper powder; bengalgram flour and corn flour ingredients.
