- 1.00 cup Rice Batter
- 1.00 nos Onion
- 1.00 nos Carrot
- 1.00 nos Capsicum
- 1.00 nos Tomato
- 2.00 tbsp Cheese
- 0.25 tbsp Coriander Leaves
- 0.25 tbsp Pepper Powder
- 1.00 tbsp Oil
Instructions
Cheese Masala Dosa Recipe
- Take one cup of fermented lentils and rice flour which is prepared for dosa batter,you may mix them as usual by adding enough salt and a pinch of baking powder.
- Fine chop one onion,tomato,carrot,capsicum and coriander leaves, if you need more spice you can also fine chop one green chilly,i skipped green chilly for serving to kids,and a;ls[o bring some cheese and pepper powder.
- Heat a flat pan,take one heaped spoonful of dosa batter,pour on to that flat pan.
- Spread the poured dosa batter evenly as circular shape,as thin as possible if required some more flour batter,you scan add.
- Now topping half a hand full of fine sliced onions over the spread dosa,as thin slices as sprinkle.
- Then sprinkle some fine chopped tomato slices over them, at this stage you can also spread some tomato sauce instead of tomato slices.
- Then sprinkle your optional veggies,here i used crunchier carrot and cucumber slices,you can also add fine chopped french beans,cauliflower florets alternatively,and add some oil over the corner sides.
- Take one spoon full of cheese spread over the dded veggies,you can also add cheese as grated.
- cover the lid for two minutes and bring to boil for a few minutes in simmer flame,do not over burn the dosa at bottom.
- When the dosa and added veggies are boiled,now open the lid sprinkle some pepper powder over them,and some coriander leaves.
- Then fold the dosa as desired shape,and serve hot on topping some cheese over them with or without chutney.
