STEP : 1
To prepare malai chom we need the ingredients are two cups of sugar,hand made paneer one cup,desiccated coconut for coating,almonds and pistachios and cornflour.

Initially to prepare sugar syrup ,turn on the flame ,place a pressure cooker add two cups of sugar ,add four cups of water along with that,and allow to boil in a medium flame.

I have taken home made paneer by boiling two liters of full fat milk,or elsaie you can also instantly available paneer blocks.

Meanwhile we will prepare the paneer dough,now take out the paneer in a bowl,with your palm start mashing and chafing it.

Then add half pinch of yellow food color and mix it well with the mixture,you can also use other colors like light pink or any color of your choice ,add a one and half tablespoon of cornflour.

Rub it with your palm heels and continue knead the mixture for 4 to 5 minutes until it become very very soft and make a dough.

Take a dough ball ,start taking little portions from paneer and shape them long in a long shape if you make it round shape no doubt its rasagulla and keep aside in a separate tray.

Now sugar syrup is boiled in a string consistency and stir it once you can add a choti elaichi powder for a good aroma if you like.

Start adding the prepared paneer shape one by one,you can add vinegar or sirka in a boiling sugar syrup if you wish.

Close lid of the pressure cooker.and keep on a high flame till it whistles once,and let it cook for 4 to 5 minutes again.

Open the lid, and you will see the chums chums have fluffed up and turns the light brown color chums chums and let the chum chum cools down.

Now arrange the cooled chum chum in a serving tray and garnish with crushed cashew nuts and pistachios and then roll on desiccated coconut and serve on a plate.
