This is also known as gajar burfi . it is a very easy and quick receipe of burfi prepared at home which is made with carrots . It is usually famous in north india . This is a delicious and simple sweet dish prepared in 30-35min

Ingredients of Carrot burfi

8.00no carrot
5.00 tbsp Ghee
1.00 cup sugar
0.25 cup Milkpowder
10.00 no choppedalmond
0.50 tbsp cradamom

firstly , take the carrots , rinse it ,peel them and grate it into fine small pieces and keep it aside

Now take a pan or a tray ( I have used a normal plate ) and grease it with 1 tspn ghee and keep it aside

Now take a pan and add ghee . Once it melts ,add the grated carrots into it and saute it well till they are almost cooked

It takes about 10-12 minutes on a medium flame until it is cooked well . Now add the milk powder and mix it well

When the mixture thickens , switch off the flame . Now take a small amount and cool it .Then roll it into a small ball . it should easily form a ball

Now immediately pour the burfi mixture in the greased plate and press it lightly on top and set it . Dont press it more

Now sprinkle some chopped almonds on top and gently press it . You can also use any other dry fruits. If you are using Pistachio ,dont use salted ones

Now cover it with a plate and allow the burfi to cool . if you want it to get cool faster ,you can also keep it in fridge and cool it down

It is very good for children as it is a very nutritional food and it is very healthy also. As children are in a growing stage, they need really high nutrients for their body developments. This one is really a heathy option and also very delicious to give to the children.
