Ingredients of Cabbage poriyal
STEP : 1
Wash well the cabbage and fine chop the vegetable into thin slices,and also wash and chop the green chilies,onion and 1/2 an inch of ginger and two garlic pods.

Heat a pan add two tbsp of oil when gets hot add some mustard seeds and cumin seeds into it,and wait for it plotters.
STEP : 3
After plotters the seeds add chopped ginger and garlic,saute for few seconds and add some red gram into that and keep fry for few seconds.

Then add the fine chopped onion and green chilies and some curry leaves,and saute well for few seconds till the onion gets its transparency in medium flame to avoid the over burn.

Now the time to add the fine chopped cabbage into that fried mixture and saute for few seconds in medium flame.

Then add some water as by spraying and add needed salt at this stage and close the lid and bring to boil for few seconds.

when the water gets dried and also the cabbage is well cooked,now add the grated coconut and some coriander leaves on it.

After mix the coconut to the cabbage together remove from the flame and keep it for cool for some time,when its gets cold now add two tbsp of curd on it,because while adding the curd when the dish is hot there is a change to form as watery.

mix well the curd into that cabbage mixture and now it is ready to serve with and meals such as sambar rice or with rasam rice.
