Broccoli Masala dosa is my new experiment recipe which gives me positive result.This recipe is a healthy and balanced one for everyone.Recipe includes southern spices of India with Imported ingredients Broccoli.It itself express how much healthy for kids.

Ingredients of dosa preparation

1.00 cup Rice
0.25 cup Urad Dal
0.50 tbsp Fenugreek Seeds
2.00 cup Water
1.00 cup Broccoli florets
0.50 tbsp Salt

Ingredients of masala preparation

3.00 no Potato
1.00 cup Water
1.00 cup Oil
0.75 tbsp Mustard seeds
1.00 tbsp Soaked Bengal Gram
0.75 tbsp Urad dal
10.00 no Curry leaves
1.00 no Green Chilies
0.50 tbsp Grated Ginger
1.00 no Onion
0.50 tbsp Turmeric powder
0.50 tbsp Red chilly powder
1.00 tbsp Sambar masala
1.00 tbsp Salt
1.00 cup Coriander leaves

Broccoli Batter Preparation

Take Rice and Urad Dal in a separate bowl add Fenugreek seeds in urad dal bowl

Wash the Rice and Urad dal separately with clean water and soak them in water for 5 hours.

After soaking both rice and urad dal for 5 hours rinse the water from both the bowl separately.

In a grinder jar putting soaked rice and urad dal together with 3 tbsp of water.

Grind the rice and urad dal in a Grinder into a fine dosa batter which look like this.

Now transfer the dosa batter from the grinder jar in a big bowl and let it ferment for 8 hours.

After 8 hours of fermenting, the dosa batter is fermented nicely and ready to make.

Now take the broccoli florets and separate the florets and wash them thoroughly with clean tap water

Take a stainless steel bowl and blanch the broccoli in a hot boil salt water for 5 minutes.

After blanching for 5 minutes the colour of the broccoli florets get changes into dark green let it cool down.

after staining the water, separate the 1/4th florets of broccoli from the whole florets in a plate.Left florets will be required for the masala.

take the 1/4th broccoli florets from the plate which was separate earlier in a grinder jar with 3 tbsp of water .

Make the 1/4th broccoli florets into a puree form paste with the greenish colour in a grinder jar

Add this broccoli pure and salt in the dosa batter which was already fermented in a bowl.

Mix the dosa batter well and cover it with a lid and keep it aside till the masala get ready

Masala Preparation

Next to make masala we need 3 medium size boiled potato. wash them in clean water and pressure cook it with 2 to 3 whistle

The other ingredients to make masala are oil,mustard seeds,curry leaves,soaked bengal gram,soaked urad dal,Chopped onion,grated ginger,chopped green chilly,turmeric powder,red chilly powder,sambar masala,smashed potato,broccoli,salt,chopped coriander

Add all masalas like turmeric powder ,red chilly powder,sambar masala and salt.After mixing the masala sprinkle some water on it.

Now add smashed boil potato,broccoli florets and coriander in the mixer and mix them nicely

The Broccoli masala mixer is ready and let it cool down for few minutes inside the pan.

To make dosa take a dosa pan and let it in a medium flame and rub it with oil and sprinkle some water on it.

Now rub the water with a cloth and take the dosa batter which was made earlier and take one spoon and spread it in a pan

After spreading on a pan it will get dry then apply some oil on it with a brush and let the flame on high
