Ingredients of Bread barfi
STEP : 1
To prepare bread burfi recipe i have taken four slices of bread(for 2 cups of bread crumbs),250ml of milk,1 cup of sugar,1 one cup of grated coconut that i shown in my below image.

Now take a crushed almond half cup, three table spoon of clarified butter or ghee, raisins around ten to fifteen and a pinch of cardamom crushed ,you can also use walnuts for bread burfi.

Take a four bread slices cut the edges,then cut into small pieces to make a perfect crumbs place the bread into a blender,if you need dried bread crumbs you can toast the bread first,now place the bread crumbs into a separate bowl.

Now take a bowl slightly add milk into the bread crumbs,you can also add egg into the bread crumbs to make a thin paste.Make sure don't add too much of milk add little amount till the bread crumbs become a paste.

Now the combination of bread crumbs and milk should not be too watery,now soak the bread crumbs till 10 to 15 minutes,make sure while making bread crumbs don't waste bread edges include the bread edges for the bread crumbs.

Turn on the flame put a non stick tawa when it get slightly hot add 3/4 cup of sugar or add a required.

Now combine the grated coconut into the roasted sugar,stir it over a low flame till the sugar melts,now saute it very well.

Make sure dry roast the bread crumbs in a medium flame roasted bread crumbs will turn golden in colour before that roast the sugar and it will caramelized into the grated coconut,stir it well.

Now add the dry roast into sugar and coconut stir it continuously this will take around five to ten minutes,now the combination of sugar,grated coconut,bread crumbs will get caramelized till four to five minutes.

Now add three tablespoon of ghee or clarified butter,you can also add a food colour and essence,now stir it all the mixture and mix it till the mixture leaves the side of pan.

Now add crushed almonds and pinch cardamom crushed,you can also add broken cashewnuts and wallnuts if you like and keep stiring.
STEP : 12
Now add the dry fruits ( raisins) around ten to fifteen,you can also add a saffron strands into mixture but it is optional.

Now take a separate bowl and grease the tablespoon of ghee on all sides of the bowl,now add the coconut bread crumb mixture and spread it evenly on all sides,gently press it with back of a bowl to make the surface smooth and lets cool,after it is cooled cut the burfi in square shape by using knife before that spread ghee into knife.To prevent the sticking.Now the bread burfi is ready to serve.
