Ingredients of Bombay toast
STEP : 1
The key ingredients to prepare bombay toast sandwich ,we need bread slices,potatoes,green peas,tomatoes,onion,mint leaves,coriander leaves,lemon juice,curry leaves,ginger, green chillies,red chilly powder,mustard seeds,turmeric powder,oil and salt.

Turn on the flame place a pressure cooker and add half cup of green peas and three nos of potatoes,close for three whistles.

Take a blender jar add a cup of fresh coriander leaves to prepare green chutney.

Add half cup of mint leaves and salt to taste ,you can add garlic cloves and onion few along with these leaves.

Blend it twice or thrice or till the green leaves becomes a thin coarse paste consistency.

After two to three whistles when the pressure calms down completely open the lid and drain the water.

Heat two to three tablespoon of oil,add a tablespoon of mustard seeds and let it splutter

Add a curry leaves 8 to 10 ,you can chopped ginger and green chillies if you dont want to make a paste texture.

Add a cup of onion pieces don't make into very small pieces ,cut the onions in length wise and saute it.

Take boiled potatoes in a separate bowl,peel off the potato completely and cut into small pieces.

Add the small boiled potatoes into the mixture and mix it well let the potatoes blend with other ingredients.

Add a cup of de seeded tomatoes into the mixture and cook it for few seconds.

Now add half cup of boiled green peas into the mixture and mix it very well.

Now add a tablespoon ginger green chilly paste and saute it thoroughly for few seconds .

Now squeeze the lemon for 2 to 3 drops of lemon juice and mix it .

Add a tablespoon of red chilly powder ,you can add chat masala into the mixture if possible.

Now add a pinch of turmeric powder and mix it ,you can add black pepper powder if you like.

Add a tablespoon of salt for a taste,you can use capsicum for these recipe if you prefer.

Turn off the flame and keep aside and let it cool,Take a seperate bread in a flat surface .

Now apply a mint coriander chutneys or green chutney on the top of the bread.

Now add a potato mixture with the layer of the bread and press it gently.

Place over a bread and close the bread using another bread slice,if you have sandwich griller ,you can preheat it.
