This is a starter dish for a sumptuous lunch and is made from bitter gourd, potato, brinjal and sweet pumpkin. The vegetables are chopped into cubed pieces and they are fried and then cooked with a little bit of water and mustard paste.

1.00 tbsp Mustard Paste

0.25 tbsp Salt
2.00 tbsp Oil
0.25 tbsp Kalonjee Seeds

Bitter gourd curry

Chop the potato, brinjal, pumpkin and bitter gourd into long cubes of almost uniform size so that they are uniformly cooked. Slit the green chili and make a paste of the mustard seeds.

Add half a cup of water to the mixture and cook it under simmer by covering with a lid so that the vegetables are all boiled. Once the water is dried the curry is ready to be served.
