Ingredients
Bhindi Rice
- 1.00 cup Basmati rice
- 1.00 cup Bhindi vegetable
- 1.00 nos Onion
- 1.00 nos Tomato
- 4.00 nos Curry leaves
- 5.00 nos Cashew nuts
- 1.00 tbsp Red chili powder
- 1.00 nos Green chili
- 2.00 tbsp Oil
- 0.50 tbsp Salt
- 0.25 tbsp Fennel seeds
Instructions
Bhindi Rice
- Wash and soak the basmati rice for ten minutes and drained out the water,then boil some water in a cooking pot,when the water gets boiled add the rice with them and drained out the water when the rice gets 90 percent cooked,
- Heat a cooking pan heat some oil,when oil gets hot add some fennel seeds for tempering then add some and curry leaves with them,
- Then some green chilies and cashew nuts with them and saute them well for few minutes in medium flame,do not over burn the nuts,and you can also skip the nuts if you do not want,
- Then add one medium sized onions which was lengthy sliced and saute well till it gets transparency state in medium flame,it is to be crunchy while eat,
- Then add one medium sized ripen tomato which is lengthy sliced is added with them and saute for few minutes till it gets cooked,
- Then add the well chopped Bhindi vegetables with them and saute well for three minutes till the raw smell and stickiness of the vegetable is to be completely removed,
- when the okra is completely saute well now add needed red chili powder and needed salt for this recipe and saute well without increasing the flame,and add the boiled and drained basmati rice with them and mix well evenly for few minutes,till the ingredients are spread evenly,
- Then sprinkle some chopped coriander leaves over them and serve hot by sprinkle few drops of lime juice or with curd chutney.
