Ingredients of Bharwa karela
STEP : 1
Wash the karela, Peel the garlic and onion and set aside. Take the green chili to make the filling. Take a potato and peel it and boil it.

Boil water in a sauce pan and add the peeled washed karela (two ends have been cut as shown in the picture) and bring it to boil so that it softens.

Scoop out the interior of the karela and keep it clean so that the stuffing can be poured and grilled.

Take the mustard powder add a pinch of salt and add some water and make a smooth gravy to form the filling.

Take the mixed pickle and make a uniform paste of the same so that it can be added as a part of the filling.

Heat a few drops of oil in the utensil and fry the onion, garlic and green chili till they turn golden brown.

Add the pickle, mustard gravy, boiled potato and the salt and mash it well and cook for a minute or two so that the stuffing is well formed.

Take the stuffing and let it settle down and cool. Make sure it has no water in it and is thick and can be stuffed into the karela.

Take the boiled karelas and take a spoonful of the stuffing and put it inside the hole and stuff it well.

Grease the air fryer with a drop of oil and place the karela for grilling. Grill one side for 10 minutes till it turns slightly brownish and then turn it to the other side so that it is completely cooked.
