STEP : 1
Without any mishit chatni Bengali meal is in complete specially lunch. In any Bengali household chatni is a main part of the meal it is served at the end of the meal. Kuler chatni is one of them let's try it you will also love it.

STEP : 2
For this chatni we need kul or ber which we can easily get in winter seasons. This chatni is made on the special day of Saraswati puja or Basant Panchami .Served with khichdi. At first wash the kul or ber in running water.

STEP : 3
Now cut off its upper and lower portion and slice it vertically. As shown the picture. If you want to remove its seeds you can remove it but here we make the chatni with seeds too.Keep aside them.

STEP : 4
Now take 2 medium sized tomatoes; wash them and Take 1 inch of ginger and grate it. cut them into slices. Now take a bowl and add the vertically sliced kul or ber , sliced tomato and grated ginger.

STEP : 5
Now add 2 cups of water in it and add 2 pinch of salt in it . Put the bowl in the gas let it be boiled . Add one bowl of sugar in it after adding sugar we can see in the image its started making bubbles sim the gas and let it be cooked. After few mins when the juice is started become thicker switch off the gas and let it be cold your kuler chatni is ready.
