Beguni recipe is very tasty and spicy. This is a famous Bengali style snack recipe. It is serve with tea or coffee time. It is very easy to prepare at home with simple steps.

- 1.00 nos Brinjal
- 4.00 tbsp gram flour
- 0.25 tbsp red chili powder
- 0.25 tbsp turmeric powder
- 0.25 tbsp salt
- 1.00 cup sooji
- 5.00 tbsp oil
- 0.50 tbsp tomato ketchup
Instructions

- Wash the brinjal and cut it into half. After that take the half part of brinjal and cut it into thin slices. You can cut the slices into longitudinal or round shape. I have cut it into longitudinal shape.
- Now marinate the slices of bringal with half teaspoon of turmeric powder and pinch of salt. Also apply little of sugar while marinating. Keep it side for at least 15 20 minutes.
- Make a thick batter of gram flour, half teaspoon red chili powder, turmeric powder, pinch of salt, dry mango powder. Also take sooji in a separate bowl.
- Dip the brinjal slice into the batter. The batter must be so thick that it can coat the brinjal slice completely. Repeat the same process for other slices.
- Then coat each slices with the sooji. To make it more crispy sooji/rava are using in place of sooji/rava you can use poppy seeds.
- Heat oil in a non-stick pan and fry the brinjal slices. Reduce the flames to medium so that it become crispy and cook completely from inside as well as from outside.
- Transfer the fried beguni into a serving plate and serve it with tomato ketchup. Sprinkle some chat masala and black salt, serve immediately with hot tea.
