Ingredients of Beetroot rasam
STEP : 1
Boil the beetroot and cook well and chop into small cubes. Put the chopped beetroot into the mixer, add coconut and grind to make a smooth puree.
STEP : 2
Heat a pan, add oil, mustard, urad dal, cumin seeds, green chilly, onion and garlic flakes and fry. Add tamarind juice and fry for 2 minutes.
STEP : 3
Now add the puree to the pan and mix well. Add chilly powder, salt, little water and turmeric powder and boil well.
STEP : 4
Turn off the gas and garnish with coriander leaves, pudina leaves and curry leaves. Beetroot Rasam can be served with rice.
