Ingredients of beetroot gravy
STEP : 1
Main ingredients include beetroot, onion, tomatoes (grated). Shallow fried groundnut forms the base for making gravy. All ingredients are taken as per the measurements. Tomatoes and onions must be fried with small spoon of oil, till soft. Then pasted soft.
STEP : 2
All the spices laung ,dalchin ,jeera ,fenugreek seeds ,dhaniya ,curry leave ,salt ,chilly powder ,turmeric powder and oil is taken.

All the above ingredients are taken in a mixing jar and pasted to make it smooth, for yummy, spicy taste. Water must be added as per requirement.

Then take a pan and pour oil to saute beetroot. Add onions and beetroot grated and allow it to cook , till they are turn brownish.
STEP : 5
After the vegetable is properly cooked, add pasted spices into the saute pan and stir it well, till the dish turns to red.
STEP : 6
Floating oil on the top of the pan, indicates it is well cooked. Transfer it into a separate bowl and garnish it with coconut and chopped curry leaves. Serve it with rice. It serves eight.

The following display of garnishing ingredients are curry leaves, fenugreek seeds, coconut and groundnut are slightly fried before garnishing. This is spread on the recipe, before serving.
