Ingredients of Beetroot chutney
STEP : 1
Take all the ingredients and keep it ready Oil, Red Chilly, Garlic Flakes, medium size Tomato, peeled & chopped large beetroot, chana dal, tamarind.

Heat oil in a pan, add in chana dal, chilies and garlic. Fry till golden brown and remove to a blender.

In the same oil add in beetroots and tomatoes, mix well and cook till it turns light golden and put it in the same blender.
STEP : 4
Add in tamarind and salt to the blender and make it into a smooth puree. Once ready, transfer to a bowl.
STEP : 5
Heat oil in a pan, add in mustard and urad dal and season it. Pour this over chutney & mix well. Yummy Sweet & Sour Beetroot Chutney is ready to serve which goes well with Idli, Dosa.
