This is a famous dish in Kerala which we get from selected restaurants . But fact is we can make this easily at home and with the same or more taste as our choice of spices . It's one of favorite dish of my hubby and my in-laws .

Ingredients of For rice puttu preparation

2.00 cup Rice flour
0.25 tbsp salt
1.00 cup Water
0.50 cup coconut

0.50 tbsp green chilly
1.00 no onion
3.00 tbsp curry leaves
0.50 tbsp red chilly powder
0.25 tbsp coriander powder
0.25 tbsp garam masala
0.25 kg beef
1.00 tbsp turmeric powder
1.00 tbsp pepper
0.50 tbsp salt

Mean while clean the beef using water and keep it aside . Use small sliced beef mine is too big .

Then put this clean beef to a pressure cooker and add turmeric powder,pepper and salt to it ,mix it well .

When it is done drain off excess water if it have . And then chop the beef to small pieces .

Then heat a pan and pour some oil to it , when it is hot add ginger ,garlic ,green chilly to it .

Saute it well and then add the chopped onion to it ,then add curry leaves also . Keep flame low .

At the first step heat a pan or bowl along with water and salt in it , let it boil well .

Then keep it aside and let it cool , when it is nicely cool ,pour some flour to a mixer and grind it to get a smooth flour without lumps .

Our beef masala is ready , now we can do the filling ,keep the kudam or pot along with water at flame ,then take the puttu kana for filling .

Keep it for cooking on the pot and let it cooked ,when the steam came out transfer to the serving plate and enjoy it . Our dish is ready to serve .

This dish looks really ossm.. actually we eat normal puttu(plain).. but need puttu really looks delicious. I will try this recipe in my home. it is easy to make. thank you for sharing this recipe

First of all puttu was Kerala traditional food. My granny always says that puttu made from rice flour is good for chest strength. And the beef curry is the best side dish was perfect match for this puttu.
