Ingredients of Batata bhaji
STEP : 1
Select the big size and round shaped potato for making batata bhaji Cut the potato in 1/2 cm thick peaces and then keep them in cold water so that the excess starch is removed from the potato.
STEP : 2
Take a medium size bowl and add 1 cup of gram floor to it. Add salt to taste, a pinch of turmeric powder, and finally add crushed cumin seed to the mixture.

Add about 1/4 cup of water to the mixture and make thick consistency batter so the the slices of potato can be nicely coated. Let the batter rest a side for 10 minutes till the oil is getting hot so the batter will be fermented.
STEP : 4
Heat the oil in the kadhai and then coat the slices of potato with the gram floor batter and let them cook in the hot oil for 3 mins on each side. Remember to check the oil is hot or not before frying them and donŽt over crowed the kadhai 5 slices at a time is good enough.
