STEP : 1
Take the Basa fish fillet and wash it very well and cut the fillet into small cubed size pieces so that the salt and masala penetrate inside.

Take the fish cubes and add salt and turmeric to them and mix it very well so that the salt drills into the fish.

Heat oil in a frying pan and fry the fish pieces very well till they turn golden brown in all sides.

Drain of the excess oil and remove the fish pieces from the flame and set it aside in a bowl.

Heat oil in a kadai and add the kalonji seeds and add onion slices to fry them well till they turn pinkish.

Add the tomato pieces to the kadai and cook them well so that the tomato softens and melts. Add the slitted green chili to the kadai.

Cook all the ingredients well by stirring continuously and then add salt and turmeric to the kadai and mix well.

Add the mustard paste to the kadai and cook it well with the rest of the ingredients and mix it well.
STEP : 9
Add a cup of water and the fish pieces to the kadai and mix all the ingredients well and cook well in simmer till all the water drains off. Serve with coriander garnishing.
