Cook it completely for about 5 minutes. And that's it, you are done. Now to make it more tasty, you have to refrigerate it for some time and add some flavourings and serve.
Today I am adding some salt and blacksalt. You can also add a few drops of lemon juice for more flavour.
You can make this barley water in a big batch and can refrigerate it for 2 to 3 days. Obviously, you can give this barley water to kids by adding some sweeteners instead of salt.
Side effects of barley water:
Though barley water is healthy, it does not mean that you should drink too much barley water as it contains too much fiber in it.
It will make your stomach upset and you may have loose tools or even constipation. Also it is very high in calories, and so avoid drinking it too much in a single time.
The gluten in barley may cause bloating and gas problems.

It is just a five minute process . So easy and simple. The first step is to take a bowl and add 1 liter of water and bring it to boil

Now take another bowl and add four tablespoon of barley powder and a add some water to it and mix it like paste such that no lumps are formed

The paste should like thin batter with liquid like consistency. Now pour the mixed batter into the boiling water and mix it well.
STEP : 4
Put the stove in simmer just for 2 to 3 minutes and then put of the flame. Now let it cool and refrigerate it for 2 to 3 hours and serve it cool.
