Banana sweet rice

STEP : 1
The key ingredients to prepare banana sweet rice ,we need rice,jaggery,banana,coconut pieces,milk,turmeric powder,cardamom powder,dry ginger powder,cashewnuts,ghee,raisins and salt.

STEP : 2
At the same time ,turn on the flame ,place a thick pan add a tablespoon of ghee,two cups of rice flour in hot ghee and saute it for few minutes.

When it is roasted till it turns color then transfer them in a seperate plate.

Add a cup of water in it and leave it to boil for few seconds.Add a pinch of turmeric powder in a boiling water and let it heat for few minutes.Add a pinch of salt in a semi boiling water and mix it and let it heat.

After few minutes ,turn off the flame,add a little bit along with rice flour and mix it.Add little bit of warm milk and mix it gently like a bread crumbs consistency.

After mixing it,the rice flour able to mold a shape like shown in below image.

Grate the coconut pieces seperately,you can use dry coconut mixture or desiccated coconut if you prefer.

When the coconut mixture is dry roasted completely then transfer it in a seperate vessel.

When it is heated lightly,place the idli molder or plate along with the idli cooker

STEP : 10
Transfer the prepared rice flour in a white cotton cloth and place it over the cooker.

Close the idli cooker lid and leave it for 3 to 5 minutes in a medium flame.

Turn on the flame ,add two cup of finely crunched or powdered jaggery in a seperate vessel .

Add little bit water and mix it completely till it dissolves and let it boil.

Take two nos of banana ,peel it then cut it into small pieces and keep aside

Strain the prepared jaggery syrup using strainer to seperate the impurities in a seperate bowl.

Then again boil the jaggery syrup till it turns thick,open the idli cooker lid slowly.Add the rice flour side by side in a thick jaggery syrup and stir it.

Add the dry roasted grated coconut along with the sweet rice and mix it completely.

Add half tablespoon of cardamom powder or elaichi powder and mix it for better smell.and half tablespoon of dry ginger powder or sukku powder and mix for better smell.

Let's roast the nuts,place a kadai add the remaining tablespoon of ghee and let it melt.Add few broken cashews in a ghee and mix it,You can add crunched badam if you prefer,Add quarter cup of raisins and crunched walnuts or pistachios if you prefer.

Add the roasted nuts in a sweet rice and mix it ,let it cook in a low flame.

Add the seperated banana pieces along with the sweet rice.Turn off the flame and allow to cool for few minutes and transfer it in a serving bowl.
