hi, Vazhaithandu Kootu is an easy and delicious South Indian Side made with Banana Stem, moong dal and seasoned with aromatic spices. Vazhaithandu is very good for our health .For sugar person it is very good.Every one need to have this Vazhaithandu.

Ingredients of banana stem recipe

1.00 no Vazhai Thandu Medium Size
1.00 cup Moong Dhal
0.25 tbsp Turmeric Powder
4.00 no Green Chillies
1.00 tbsp curd
2.00 tbsp oil
0.50 tbsp Mustard Seeds
1.25 tbsp Jeera
6.00 no Curry Leaves
3.00 piece Coconut
0.25 tbsp asafoetida
1.00 no onion
1.00 tbsp salt To Taste

Banana stem recipe

First you need to Remove the outer covering of the plantain stem from the Vazhaithandu .
