South Indian Breakfasts are normally added with idly and dosa like recipe,but our children getting bored about the normal and usual breakfast recipes,for that i going to add some special and different ingredients to make a different taste idly,which is mostly liked by all our kids,

Ingredients of Banana Idli recipe

2.00 cup Idly Rice Batter
0.25 tbsp Baking Soda
0.50 tbsp Salt
6.00 no Banana
0.50 cup Jaggery
0.25 tbsp Elachi Powder
1.00 tbsp Ghee
0.50 cup Grated Coconut

Banana Idli recipe

Take a large mixing bowl add needed salt and a pinch of baking soda and add little water and stir well till it gets soften and thick consistency,

In a mixer jar add half a cup of jaggery or sugar and blend them as fine powder without any lumps and blend them,

In that same jar add needed banana fruits by skin peel them,as may be sliced or add as it is,and blend them in a mixer jar to get fine paste,

Add the rounded banana and jaggery mixture to that idly rice batter and stir well till it mix well together evenly through over the rice batter,

Then add the grated coconut with them and mix well together again without any lumps,you can also add little water if needed,and add green cardomom powder with them,

Heat the idly cooker and add some water to bring them to steam cook,crease some ghee on the idly mold for required number of idlies,And one heaped spoon full of idly mold,repeat for all idly mold,

Then place the idly mould on that water boiling idly cooker and close the lid and bring them to steam cooking for ten to twelve minutes,

After ten minutes remove from flame and bring them for cool and then transfer the idly to the serving plate with sweet chutney,

Here again I hate idlis but idli with banana sounds little better. A little actually. Is that a south Indian recipe, well done people. I am proud of us. Actually I never tried this. I guess I must give it a try. Can we have it with sambar or chutney, or I think we can eat it without any side things because of jaggery and banana it will taste sweet. I will try. Thanks!

Idle with banana is a very unique one and also a new idea which i have never tried earlier.
