This is a dish made by mashing the banana flowers in a mixture grinder and then steaming it with green chili, mustard paste and coconut paste in a mustard oil base. It is served best with hot rice and is a dry item.

Ingredients of Banana flower chutney

1.00 cup BananaFlower
1.00 tbsp MustardPaste
1.00 tbsp CoconutPaste
2.00 tbsp Chili
2.00 tbsp MustardOil
0.25 tbsp salt

Take the chopped banana flower and make some coconut paste. Set aside a green chili and boil the banana flower to soften.

Blend the banana flower in a mixture machine to form a smooth paste. Make a paste of the mustard seeds and use a green chili for making the paste.

Add the coconut paste, mustard paste, salt and mustard oil in a mixing bowl so that the same can be used for steaming

Mix all the ingredients very well so that an uniform paste is formed and this can be added directly for steaming by adding a few drops of oil and closing the lid.
