Ingredients of Badam laddu
STEP : 1
Take the almond and the cashew and then dry roast them by heating a kadai in the flames. Once they turn slightly brownish set them aside.

Take the sugar and add it to the grinder too. Make a fine powder of the same so that it has no granules.

Put the roasted nuts into the mixture grinder and then make a coarse powder of the same by grinding it well.

Heat ghee in a stainless steel kadai and take the sattoo (chana dal powder) and add it to the ghee and fry it well.

Once the sattoo turns golden in color add the roasted and ground nuts to the kadai and fry them well too.

Cook for 4-5 minutes and mix all the contents uniformly so that they are blended well and mix thoroughly with each other.

Now once the sattoo and nut is fried in the ghee add the powdered sugar to it and stir well so that the sugar mixes with the contents. Add the cardamom powder.

Now the mixture is ready and then set it in a plate and let it cool for a while before making the balls.

Grease the palms with sufficient amount of ghee and then make balls with the palm as shown in the image. Now serve with kesar garnishing.
