STEP : 1
Put rice powder(pathilpodi) to a plate .Then take about 3\4 0f water in a bowl and add salt to it,to make a salty water.Pour this salty water to the rice powder and mix throughly to make a soft dough.

STEP : 2
Divide the prepared dough in to 8 to 10 equal size balls.Then press the ball using chapati presser by applying much pressure to get thin and soft pathil. Don't forget to place a thin sheet of plastic or banana leaf to the presser.

STEP : 3
Slowly lift the pathil along with plastic sheet in your hand and slowly remove the sheet from the pathil. Then place the pathil in a hot pan. Keep the gas flame in medium.

STEP : 4
After 1 minute turn the other side and cook , wait for 2 to 3 minute, again turn the other side.Once both side is cooked properly,using small cotton cloth press the pathil gently it will be puffed up and remove from pan.Repeat the remaining balls using same procedure.
