- 5.00 nos Colocasia Leaves
- 1.25 cup Oil
- 1.25 cup Peanuts
- 1.25 cup Chana Dal
- 1.25 cup Tamarind
- 1.25 tbsp Cumin Seeds
- 1.25 tbsp Mustard Seeds
- 1.25 tbsp Curry Leaves
- 1.25 tbsp Red Chili Powder
- 1.25 tbsp Turmeric Powder
- 1.25 tbsp Garam Masala Powder
- 1.25 tbsp Salt
- 4.00 nos Green Chilies
- 1.25 tbsp Coconut
- 1.25 cup Gram Flour
- 1.25 tbsp Fenugreek Seeds
Instructions
Alu Chi Patal Bhaji Recipe
- These are the simple ingredients required to make the colocasia leaves (arvi ka patta) gravy in the home.
- First step you need to soak the Tamarind, peanuts and chana Dal and chopped the colocasia leaves (arvi ka patta) as shown
- Next step you need to take the pressure cooker and the soaked peanuts and chana Dal in it and boil them for 1 to 2 whistle.
- Next step you need to take the frying pan and put it on the stove and add the 2 big table spoon of oil in it as shown.
- After heating the oil next you need to add the half table spoon of Fenugreek seeds in it as shown
- Next you need to add the chopped colocasia leaves in the frying pan and cook for a few minutes.
- After the colocasia leaves gets cooked you need to add the chopped dry coconut in the pan as shown.
- Next you need to add the Boiled chana Dal and peanuts in the pan and cook for a few minutes.
- Next you need to add the half glass of water in the frying pan and cook for a few minutes
- Next step you need take out the Tamarind pulp and add in the dish and cook for a few minutes.
- In this step you need to take the gram flour in the bowl add water and make like a paste and add In the pan as shown and cook for a few minutes
- Next you need to make the cut on the chillies and add the green chilles in the dish as shown.
- Next you need to add the half table spoon of red chilli powder in the frying pan.
- Next you need to add the half table spoon of salt or as per the taste in the dish.
- Next you need to add the half table spoon of Garam masala powder in the frying pan and mix it and cook for a few minutes.
- Next step you need to take another frying pan put it on the stove and heat it and add the 2 table spoon of oil in it and add the curry leaves in it.
- Next you need to add the half table spoon of Cumin seeds and Mustard seeds in the frying pan.
- Next step you need to add the half table spoon of turmeric powder in the frying pan for giving the chonk in the dish.
- Now you need to add the above made chonk in the colocasia leaves gravy as shown.
- Now the colocasia leaves gravy is ready you can serve to the family members and eat it with white rice.
