Ingredients
Aloo Tamatar Ki Sabji
- 3.00 nos Potatoes
- 3.00 tbsp Tomatoes
- 1.50 tbsp Oil
- 1.00 tbsp Cumin seeds
- 2.00 nos Curry Leaves
- 0.50 tbsp Turmeric Powder
- 0.50 tbsp Red Chilly Powder
- 0.25 tbsp Pepper Powder
- 1.00 tbsp Salt
- 0.25 glass Water
- 1.00 nos Coriander Leaves
Instructions
Aloo Tamatar Ki Sabji
- Take and wash three medium sized potatoes and add them to a pressure cooker and brings to boil for four whistles.
- Then wash and chop three medium sized well ripen tomatoes and also chop the boiled and peeled potatoes.
- Heat a frying pan then add some cumin seeds and some curry leaves with them till it gets splutters in slow fire.
- Then add the chopped tomatoes slices with them and add some turmeric powder, some red chilly powder and add little red chilly powder and enough salt with them.
- Saute well the added ingredients till the tomatoes gets well smashed in the low flame and the added oil will ooze out.
- Then add little water with them and close the lid and brings them to boil for few seconds till it gets thick.
- When the water comes to semi gravy state,now add the boiled and chopped potato slices with them and stir well for few minutes.
- Bring them to cook for some time and smash some potato slices with the ladle to get the recipe thick,and saute them till it gets dry.
- When the tomato and potato sabzi is getting boiled and thick now this recipe is ready to serve hot with coriander leaves with hot poori.
