Ingredients of Aloo poori
STEP : 1
The key ingredients to prepare potato Puri, we need potatoes, sifted wheat flour ,turmeric powder red chilli powder ,coriander leaves ,oil and salt for a taste.

Turn on the flame ,add a cup of water and add two potatoes in a pressure cooker ,close the lid leave it for 3 to 4 whistles.

After 3 to 4 whistles when the pressure calms down completely open the lid and drain the water.
STEP : 4
After draining the water,peel the potatoes skin in a separate bowl and mash it very well with out lumps.

Add a cup of sifted wheat flour ,mix the potatoes and wheat flour thoroughly by hands.

Add half tablespoon of turmeric powder and mix it lightly ,you can add a tablespoon of corn flour for crispness.

Add a tablespoon of red chilly powder and mix it,even you can add a green chilli paste into the mixture.

Add a tablespoon of salt and mix it ,add a little bit of water and make it like a bread crumbs.

Add a cup of fresh coriander leaves or cilantro into the mixture and mix it ,then gradually add a water and make a light dough.

Add a tablespoon of oil into a dough and mix it and knead a soft dough .

Close the lid and Leave it a dough under 20 to 25 minutes or keep it in a refridgerator .

After 20 to 25 minutes ,take a dough and divide into a small lemon sized balls.

For poori frying,turn on the low flame ,heat half litre oil in a high flame .

Take a small lemon sized ball ,rub your palm with little bit oil and make a light roll .

When oil get heats nicely,add a round shape roll lightly into oil and flip it gently.

When it turns light golden brown take out from oil and drain the oil completely,Now our potato poori is ready ,you can have these potato poori for chutneys and gravies.
