Ingredients of Aloo Poha
STEP : 1
Firstly take 2 medium size Onion, 2 medium size Potato, 2 Tomato, 4 5 Green Mirchi and few Kadi Patta. Aggregate all of them in a plate.
STEP : 2
Wash all the vegetables properly with clean water for 2 3 times and cut all veggies in to medium sized pieces. Aggregate all veggies in a plate seperately.

Now take 500 Gms. of Batata Pauva (Poha) in to whole container. Make it clean by removing unwanted material (debris) from it.
STEP : 4
Wash Batata Pauva with clean water for 3 4 times. Then keep it a side in to whole container so that water will drained out from it.
STEP : 5
Now take an Aluminium container (kadai) and wash it properly with water and make it dry by cloth. Put it on the gas stove.
STEP : 6
Now take 1 cup Vegetable Oil in to the Container or Kadai. Put on the gas stove at low flame and let it be heat the oil for 1 - 2 minutes.
STEP : 7
After proper heating of oil make the flame low and add œ tbsp of Mustard & œ tbsp of Cumin seeds in to the hot oil. Saute them properly for 1 minutes at low flame.

Now add medium sized pieces of Onion in to the container. Here onion should not be very small or very big sized.
STEP : 9
Mix and saute the onion properly at low flame with occasional stirring by spoon. Here onion should not be brown and should be remain white.
STEP : 10
Now add medium sized Potato in to the container. Here potato should not be of big size otherwise it will take more time to cook.

Mix and saute all pieces of Potato properly with occasional stirring by spoon. Add pinch of salt so that potato can be cook easily.

Now add few fresh and washed Kadi patta in to the container. This ingredients is optional but adding of it gives good aroma and taste to the preparation.

Mix and saute the Kadi patta properly with occasional stirring by spoon up to its aroma will come out. It should not be burn out.
STEP : 14
Add finely chopped green mirchi in to the container. Green mirchi should not be of big size. It should be in round shape.

Mix and saute the green mirchi properly with occasional at low flame by spoon. It should not be burn out. It should be in round shape.
STEP : 16
Now add 1 big spoon of White Til in to the container. This ingredient will give good taste to the final preparation.

Mix and saute the White Til properly at low flame with occasional stirring by spoon. Here White Til should not be burn out. It also should not be brown.
STEP : 18
Add medium sized red tomato in to the container. Here tomato should not be of small size otherwise it will not look in preparation.

Mix and saute all pieces of tomato properly at low flame with occasional stirring by spoon for 1 minutes.
STEP : 20
Now add 1 tbsp of Salt in to the container and mix it properly with constant stirring by spoon at low flame.

Add 1 tbsp Huldi Powder of good quality in to the container and mix it properly with constant and slowly stirring.

Add 1 tbsp of Red Mirchi Powder in to the container and mix it properly with constant stirring by spoon. It should not be burn out.
STEP : 23
Add 1 tbsp of Sugar in to the container and mix it properly with constant stirring by spoon. If you want sweet preparation then add little more quantity of sugar.

Take out fresh lemon juice and add 1 tbsp of it in to the container and mix it properly with constant stirring by spoon. Flower of lemon can also be use in place of lemon juice.

Now mix the whole content properly at medium flame with constant stirring so that taste of all ingredients will disperse in to the whole content

Now add 1 cup of water in to the container and mix the whole content properly with constant stirring by spoon and boil it for 5 minutes at medium flame.
STEP : 27
After properly boiling of the content add washed Batata Pauva in to the container at once. Make the flame very slow.
STEP : 28
Mix the whole content properly with constant and slowly stirring by spoon. Here there should not be remain any portion of Batata Pauva white. There should not be break down of Pauva. Now the Potato - Onion - Tomato Pauva is ready to serve. Serve it in to plate and garnish it by sprinkling Sev and finely chopped Onion and Dhaniya Patti.
