Aloo Palak Paratha – Healthy And Tasty Aloo Palak Paratha Recipe
Aloo palak paratha is a tasty and crispy recipe. This is a famous North Indian style recipe. A little hot spices which give amazing taste to this paratha and easy to make at home.
Ingredients
Aloo Palak Paratha
- 2.00 cup Wheat Flour
- 1.00 cup Spinach Greens
- 2.00 nos Potato
- 1.00 tbsp Yogurt
- 1.00 tbsp Red Chilly Powder
- 0.25 tbsp Cumin Powder
- 0.75 tbsp Salt
- 1.00 drop Lemon Juice
- 3.00 tbsp Ghee Or Oil
Instructions
Aloo Palak Paratha
- Take two potatoes and wash them well and add it to a pressure cooker and boil them for three whistles.
- Wash and fine chop the Spinach greens,better to remove those stems and use the leaves only, squeeze and drained out the water.
- Add the squeezed spinach into a mixer jar and grind them well to get the spinach juice which is mainly added to this recipe.
- Take a large mixing bowl add two cups of wheat flour then add the extracted spinach juice over them and also add the boiled, peeled and smashed potatoes with them.
- And then add one tbsp of fresh yogurt, a tbsp of red chilly powder, little cumin powder and add enough salt for them, you can also add few drops of lemon juice instead of yogurt.
- Knead well the dough by your hands and add some more stock water of spinach if needed, and keep the dough for soak in 30 minutes till it gets soft.
- After the 30 minutes take the dough and knead again well and divide the portions into small ball sized dough, and dust some dry wheat flour to roll.
- Then spread flatten the dough to roll using a rolling pin, you can also dust little more flour as you if needed.
- Heat a flat pan or tawa add some oil or ghee over them, and place the rolled flat paratha dough over them and brings it to boil.
- When the paratha gets boiled on one side and the light brown dots appears on it, now turn the paratha to another side and bring them to boil in slow flame.
- Apply some oil over them and now the paratha is ready to remove from the pan, Serve the hot Potato Spinach paratha with amazing paliya or with chutney.
