The Curry of Potato - Green Palak - tomato is the one of the most healthy curry recipe. The potato - palak - tomato curry can be prepared by any one at home. This curry recipe is also available in most of the Gujarati Restaurants.

Ingredients of Aloo palak ki sabji

1.00 kg Green Fresh Palak
2.00 no Potato
3.00 no Tomato
4.00 no Onion
4.00 no Green Mirchi
6.00 no Garlic Leaves
1.00 no Ginger
1.00 tbsp Cumin Seeds
1.00 tbsp Kitchen King Masala
1.00 tbsp Coriander Powder
1.00 tbsp Red Chilli Powder
1.50 tbsp Salt
1.00 cup Veg Oil
0.50 tbsp Lemon Juice
1.00 cup Water

Aloo palak ki sabji

Firstly take fresh and green 500 gms of Palak. Wash it properly with water for 2 – 3 times. Take out Palak leaves.

Now soak all palak leaves into cold water for 5 minutes and cut into medium sized pieces. Wash all pieces once with water.

Now take 4 -5 Onion; 4 Potato; 4 Tomato; 4 – 5 Green mirchi; small piece of Ginger and 6 – 7 Garlic leaves into a plate.

Now cut Potato and tomato into medium size separately. Cut onion; garlic ginger and green mirchi into finely chopped size separately.

Now take kadai and wash it properly and put on gas stove. Take 1 cup of oil into kadai. Put on gas stove at medium flame.

After proper heating of oil add 1 tbsp of Jeera into it and let it be saute for 1 minute at low flame. Jeera should not be burn.

Now add finely chopped green mirchi into it and mix properly. Let it saute for 1 minutes at low flame with stirring.

Now add medium pieces of potato into the kadai and add a pinch of salt so that potato can be easily cooked.

Mix the onion with the whole content and let it fry for 3 – 4 minutes at medium flame up to light brown color.

Now Mix cooked tomato with whole content properly with spoon. Let it cook the content properly for 2 minutes.

Now add 1.5 tbsp Coriander powder; œ tbsp huldi powder; 1 tbsp red chilli powder into the content.

Now add medium size pieces of Palak into kadai. Add 1 tbsp salt and œ tbsp lemon juice. Add 2 tbsp water.

Now mix the whole content . Close the kadai for 5 minutes with wholed lid or wholed vessel so that the all ingredients will cook properly.

Now cook the preparation for 2 minutes so that the taste of all masalas will merge into whole preparation with occasional stirring. Check the taste of preparation. If require any ingredient like salt; lemon juice add it.
