Aloo gobi matar recipe is a very tasty and simple to prepare at home. It can serves as a great sidedish for roti or chapati.This is the famous Punjabi style Curry recipe.
Ingredients
Aloo Gobi Matar
- 1.00 Cup Cauliflower Florets
- 1.00 Cup Potato
- 0.75 Cup Green Peas
- 3.00 No Onion
- 3.00 No Tomato
- 1.00 Tbsp Ginger Garlic Paste
- 6.00 No Cashew Nuts
- 0.5 Tbsp Cumin Seeds
- 2.00 Tbsp Red Chilly Powder
- 0.25 Tbsp Turmeric Powder
- 0.25 Tbsp Garam Masala Powder
- 1.00 No Bay Leaf
- 0.75 Tbsp Salt
- 3.00 Tbsp Ghee Or Oil
- 0.5 Tbsp Kasuri Methi
- 0.5 Tbsp Coriander Leaves
Instructions
Aloo Gobi Matar
- Clean and chop some cauli-flower into small florets,then chop two potatoes into small cubes and get some green peas also
- Then take two medium sized onions and three well ripened tomatoes and fine slice them.
- For Clean The CauliFlower: Heat a pan add some water when the water comes to boil,then add the florets and add some salt and turmeric powder.
- When the water comes to boil then Drained out the water and keep aside for cool.
- For Tomato Puree Extract Add the sliced tomatoes into a mixer jar then add cashew nuts with them,and grind them as fine paste.
- Heat a pan Then add some ghee or Oil with them and splutters some cumin seeds and a bay leaf with them.
- Then add fine chopped onions with them and saute them till it comes to light golden brown.
- Then add one tbsp of ginger garlic paste with them and saute well till the raw smells out.
- Then add the Extracted tomato puree with them and stir well for few seconds till the raw smell goes.
- Then add enough red chilly powder,some garam masala powder and 1/4 tbsp of cumin powder with them and stir well.
- When the Ingredients are mixed well,then add the well cleaned and drained cauli-flower florets with them.
- Then add the Chopped Potatoes and Fresh Or Frozen Green peas with them and stir well.
- Then add needed water with them and enough salt for them and stir well for few seconds.
- Cover the lid and brings to boil for few minutes till the added veggies are well cooked and soft.
- When the veggies are cooked and the gravy comes to tender now add little kasuri methi with them.
- Then garnish some coriander leaves and serve hot with Hot Steamed or plain Rice or Roti varieties.
