STEP : 1
Hard boil the eggs in boiling water. Peel and wash the potato and boil it well so that it is softened and can be mashed.

Take the boiled eggs and cool them. Use a sharp edged knife to cut them into 2 halves along the vertical direction.

Chop the onion. Make a paste of the garlic Make a paste of the ginger Set aside red chili powder.

The egg devil is to be batter fried using a bread crumb coating. Set aside a cup of bread crumb to coat the masala wrapped egg slices.

Heat oil in a kadai. Add the onion, garlic paste and ginger paste and deep fry them till the onion turns golden brown. Add the salt and red chili powder and mix well.

Add the boiled potato to the mixture above and mash them very well so that it mixes well with the masala.

After the mashed potato is ready, keep it in a bowl and let it cool before it can be coated on the boiled egg.

Wrap the halved egg with the mashed potato. Dip it in a beaten egg and apply coating of bread crumbs in all directions and make a ball as shown in the image.

Heat oil in a frying pan and add the egg devil balls to the hot oil. Fry till golden brown in one direction.

Turn the egg devil balls in all directions and fry them well in all directions till it is uniformly golden brown in all directions. Drain the excess oil and remove from the flames.
